Eid celebration and reception in University Putra Malaysia

Bangladeshi Students' Association of University Putra Malaysia (BSAUPM) organized a grand Eid celebration and reception programme on July 2, 2019. Professor Datin Padukta Dato Dr. Aini Ideris, Vice Chancellor of UPM, was present as the Chief Guest in the function while the president of the association, PhD scholar Md Asadul Islam presided over the function in the Dewan Takliman Serdang Hall, UPM.

Moreover, Head of Students Affairs Fahmi Azhar Bin Mistar, Associate Professor Dr. SM Nurul Amin, President of UPMISA Mohannad Saleh, Ex-President of UPMISA Musheer Al-Jaeri, Ex-President of BSAUPM Mohammad Sahabuddin also attended as a guest. Besides, the functioning of the UPM International Students Association and the presence of representatives of different countries makes the event alive.

On the occasion,  newly appointed Asistant General Secretary of UPM International Students Association, Krishibid Md. Al-Mamun and Rehana Akhter, mother of the PhD Scholar Major Mohammad Rezaur Rahman, was welcomed by the BSAUPM. Guests who attended the ceremony enjoyed cultural programs and  native tasty food items. After all, the President of the BSAUPM, on behalf of the Association, invited the guests to stage to the honor with crest.

Students of different faculties and PhD scholars of UPM participated in the ceremony with their family members. It is significant to mention that around four hundred Bangladeshi students are studying at the UPM campus, including 30 senior scientists under the NATP project of the Ministry of Agriculture, university teachers and high government officials of Bangladesh.
