Imran Khan phones PM Sheikh Hasina

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has called Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina over phone and exchanged pleasantries.

Khan made the call on Wednesday afternoon and they exchanged pleasantries, Sheikh Hasina's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told UNB.

He said the Pakistani prime minister enquired about Sheikh Hasina’s health following her eye surgeries, which she underwent successfully in at a London hospital in May and July.

Ihsanul said Sheikh Hasina, in response, thanked Khan for his call and enquiry.
