Bulbuli born during Bulbul

A baby girl named Bulbuli was born in a shelter during the severe cyclonic storm Bulbul. She was born in a cyclone shelter at the ATC Government Primary School in Mithakhali area under Mongla upazila of Bagerhat early Sunday.  Both the baby and her mother Honufa Begum are in good condition.

Mongla Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Rahat Mannan said: "Before childbirth Honufa's condition was critical.

"A midwife from Family Planning Department and a doctor from Mongla Upazila Health Complex were on standby for her."

When the baby girl was born, her father Bayezid Shikder named her Bulbuli, after Cyclone Bulbul.
